My heart melted when I saw this beautiful cwtch pop up in our instagram feed the other week. I dropped Georgina a message asking if she’d like to feature and YAY… she was well up for it! So… without further a do, lets hand you over to this beauty to tell you all about this gorgeous image of her and her mother cwtching. PLUS… lots more juicy info on the wedding and how she met her hubby.
How we met
My husband Robbie and I met when he had finished his masters degree, we had a friend in common. Nia (our friend) invited Robbie to my birthday night out and it was love at first sight. Robbie then got a job in Watford and I moved in with him a year later.
I am a huge Disney fan, but at the age of 31 I had never been. So Robbie surprised me with a visit to Disneyland Paris. We had been together 5 years, but I never expected that the love of my life would go down on one knee in front of sleeping beauty’s castle. I couldn’t believe it.
With the help of my wonderful Friends and my Mum Sue and step Dad Pete we started planning our wedding. I knew I wanted to get married back in Wales and that I wanted my parents garden to be a huge part of it.
My mum and Step Dad worked so hard to get everything ready and we had the most amazing day! We got married at the Careg Bran. Mei and his team made everything so special for us.
My maid of honour and bridesmaids made sure I was well looked after and our wonderful ushers and Robbie’s best men made sure all the guests were happy 🙂. The evening reception saw the guests walking through my parents beautiful field covered in wild flowers to have fish and chips and drinks in my parents garden. Accompanied by one of my closet friend John singing and playing guitar.
What a day! we will never forget it.
The photo that means the most to me that isn’t of me and my husband. Is one of myself and my mum dancing.
My mum has brought me up by herself since I was 6 years old. My father was still a huge part of my life, she always made sure of that. She is my hero and works so hard, always thinking of everyone before herself. The song we danced to was “Because you loved me” by Celine Dion, which describes our relationship so well.
I wanted to say a huge thank you to Dave Willis who was our photographer that day! He did an amazing job and captured so many beautiful memories.
Favourite Memory Of The Day?
I think one of the best parts of the day was to have my mum, my step dad, my step mum , my Dad , my in laws and of course my Grandmother there and to be surround by all of the friends and family who we love very much.
Myself and Robbie are thrilled to be welcoming a new little member to our family with our little boy arriving on the 11th of June 2020.
