Rebecca & Matt’s Cwtchmas Proposal

Morning lovely Cwtchers, We have a lush cwtchmas proposal for you here today.

If you are engaged and follow us on Instagram, chances are…I follow you back. I love seeing how our readers prepare for their big day. The lovely Rebecca is one such lady! She gets married any day now and I’ve been loving her countdown…YAY!

When she posted up a shot of her surprise proposal, I KNEW we needed to feature it! What a kiss!

I asked Rebecca for a few words about her engagment and how she met Matt. Lets hand you over…

We first met when I taught Zumba in the local leisure centre. He was the leisure attendant there hahaha.

It wasn’t love at first sight at all as I looked awful. However, eventually he asked me out and our first date was spent shopping in Cardiff for seven hours! Haven’t looked back since!

The Proposal

We had arranged a day trip to Bath to celebrate our first year in to our new home and picking up our furbaby.

As soon as 1st December hits I get VERY excited for Christmas. Bath was one of the first places we did a little trip together so it felt right to go back. After wondering around the markets it started getting dark. We wondered around to the cathedral and asked some strangers to take a picture of us by tree.

All of a sudden Matt turns to me, goes down on one knee and asks me to marry him!

I was in utter shock I couldn’t stop crying with happiness.

Having waited patiently for seven years, I honestly didn’t think this day would come.

As our wedding day fast approaches and having planned it in less than a year. We are so organised and ridiculously excited for it.

We’ve lots of surprises for friends and family on the day, I just can’t wait to become husband and wife.

Huge thanks to Rebecca for allowing us to share her proposal story and fabulous images with you all. We wish her & Matt the most incredible wedding day at Rosedew Farm and can’t wait to see the photographs!
